Hi friends!
Here are some of the things I have been doing this semester. It has been a chalenge as we have a bit more creative freedom. I am not complaining at all though. I have really been able to find my own style.
One thing my classmates tell me is that they can tell that I do have a style and a form that is all my own. Like they can tell that something was done by me. I like that I have sort of found my niche.
However, it is still a process and I am still growing creativly. Looking forward to see what you guys think!
Enjoy!
These are from my 3D Design class.
This is called a serial plane. I loved doing this project as I felt it was very medatative. I had to cut and glue all these little tiny peices of paper together.
I am also taking an illustrator class. Remember, I have never ever opened this program and utilized it until September. I love illustrator and I have a lot more to learn, but I know I will become a pro at it by the time school is over for me!
This was our first project we had to do where I had to create a pattern with color. It wasn't really that hard and now that I have more experience under my belt I can see that I can make my patterns much much better!
This was a project where we were learning how to do perspective in illustrator. We had to trace a city sky scape and use tools to give it depth.
A stamp we had to create. This was more challenging but it sure is a good way to become good at illustrator!
Another class I have is called Creative process. Here is what I have done so far in this class.
First project we had to find a habit and break it for a week. Mine was "being too controlling", I made sort of a large scrapbook journal for therapy through this hard week! HA!
This next project was from a quote that we had to take from Cheif Seattle's speech.
This next project was really fun! We had to randomly choose six things and create something with those 6 things included. Here is what I came out with.
A mug, lipstick, fabric, yarn, nail polish, and a ring. So I decided to make a quilt peice including all of my favorite things!
And last but not least here is my project I am currently working on as of now. We have to build a box and give it a theme of either religion box, mystery box or dream box. I chose mystery box and am making it sort of like "Victorian Witchcraft" I am not really sure what that means, but it makes sense to me! So here ya go and I will be sure to post more when it is done.
I will make sure to keep posting more! Thank you for checking it out and please tell me what you think!
